A Little Problem..

OK, sometimes when i put my key in the slot and put my foot on the break and then press the START button to start the car..it doesnt turn on :iono:, it just rumbles like it wants to start on but doesnt, so sometimes when i take my foot off the brake it starts or i have to do it over again...anyone wit the same problem?

"rumbles", as in it turns over (motor makes a rr-rr-rr-rr-rr sound), or some other type of rumble?

Do you place your foot firmly on the brake (and clutch, if 6MT) before pressing the start button?

If I simultaneously insert the fob, and immediately press the start button, mine will not do anything. I have to wait about a second after the fob is inserted to be able to press the button (no gloating from you CA people). :wink:

Sounds like you have the steptronic tranny though, since you did not mention depressing the clutch. If so, you might want to add that tidbit, and then a fellow slushie driver can give you their experiences.

take it to the dealer. it may be a fuel pump problem. did it start with long cranks and now it won't start at all?
