Remote starter for 2022 X2 (F39)

Hello everyone;
I recently purchased a 2022 F39 from a dealer. At the time of purchase, the dealer confirmed that the vehicle had a remote starter. With the arrival of the cold weather, I realize it does not have one.
Took the vehicle to a BMW dealer and they confirmed that it certainly does not have a remote starter and that they cannot install it.
Does anyone know how and/or where I can get a remote starter and who can install it in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) or where can I buy one compatible with the model ?

Thanks in advance

Maybe this is an option? I only read/heard about it and do not have first hand experience with either the shop and the solution.

Shame on them in Calgary, they should know better if they are selling BMWs! Man I would request $1K back on it and then pay for the aftermarket options.

So as mentioned Bimmertech has now adopted it.. I am wondering if it is a rebranded module like Eurostart which have been the only solution that I've found for BMW's for ages. I only heard it worked, never bothered spending the money on it though and.. now I have a garage so not interested

Only on some of the newest newest idrive models there is a car start option and it's pretty rare. BMW is really falling far behind the mainstream cars that have it. At least I can say that they are designed for a short warmup time.. ie barely a few minutes, turn on all the heated seats and heated steering wheel and then start going nice and easy.. warms up super fast.

I had drone mobile installed (eurostart) on my MY22. Total was just over $1200 and took away my extra key fob. However the starting, unlocking, gps, trips, etc is well worth it as I have been blown away by the service this thing receives. Not once has it not started for me even out in the woods with very little cell service.

Did you lose your extra fob because it was permanently installed inside the car to facilitate the remote start?
