Zuzette has arrived

Hi all..Just picked her from the dealer late this afternoon.
Here are a couple of shots I took before it got dark.
The car is perfect except it is the wrong trim.
They fitted the bubble boy trim instead of the High Gloss black..

wrong trim -

Hey Joe,
What are you going to do? Switch the trim? Apparently there's a bit of a wait like 3-4 months. I've asked my dealer to leave the bubble boy in for a few weeks to see if I can grow to love it. What do you think? Were you a bit pissed off? Our interiors look the same at the mo. How do you like the coral red?

I was pissed to say the least..
Told the dealer to price me up the exchange if I opted to CF interior trim..
Will wait and see how much $$ for CF.
If it is ridiculous I will just wait for the Black gloss finish to arrive.

That's annoying, how can they make a mistake like that? Incompetent.

I'd be worried about rattles and squeaks if after they did the trim change, as some of these guys are butchers.

Congrats on getting your car, I  black... but hard to keep clean, thats why I went SGM. I also got a wrong order also, but not as major as yours ordered Pro HiFi #677 and got the HiFi #676 as I am a Drummer and I love music I am a little disappointed, but not that keen on them pulling the trim of to install new speakers:iono:. all in all NICE CAR!

The trim is not yucky Prateek its just personal taste I guess.
I just thought there was too many colours in the cabin with the bubble trim..Black/bubble/coral...
Thats why I opted for the Black trim..One less colour.

No, it's the glacier silver that comes with the m-sport package. Brushed aluminium is the standard trim...and the one I prefer and hope I have when my car finally gets here...

When I placed my 135 order I tried to get the black gloss, but was told it was not available on AU cars. I settled for another choice, but called back a week later and asked them to check and got the same answer.

Is it possible that any order with black gloss trim is being defaulted to bubble boy? Has anyone received the black gloss trim on a delivered 135 so far?

There seems to be massive dealer confusion on the trim. I was told that the 'default' trim was the semi-smooth aluminium, with the crappy looking shiny strip along the top or the bottom. I rather liked what's now being refered to as the easter egg or bubble boy trim, saw it in a vehicle and wanted that, but was told it wasn't available. What I end up with, who knows? As long as it's not wood or gloss black, I'll be happy! Oh yeah, the eater egg/bb trim ISN'T the same as the samples in the drawer at the dealer. It appears to be more raised and the 'cut' colour is different.
