offset question

i have the m5 wheels (18") with a 38 offset both front and rear but i've seen some of you guys with a 20 offset in the rear...now what size spacers would i need to get to that offset??? i want the rears to sit flush with the fender lip...

to acheive a et20 offset, u would need 18mm spacers on each sides...simple
38-20 = 18
