Back seat legroom
I had the pleasure of taking the 135i vert for an overnight test drive thanks to a very understanding dealer.
Not that it really mattered, seeing I have already purchased the car. The exercise was to determine IF my 6ft 2inch 18 year old could fit comfortably in the back seat. He has his own car but as the youngest child and still living at home accompanies us now and then. My wife is 5ft 6inches tall and she adjusted her seat to where she had comfy leg room and wow. He fitted in the back .. Not like our 330Ci coupe but still he fitted in. Head room wasnt a problem as the 135i vert has more headroom than the 3. As long as it wasnt a 1 hour drive he would be fine, said it didnt bother him to much. It was tight for his long legs behind the passenger seat but not enbearable.. |

That is correct..just depends how much leg room you need in the front I suppose.
The vert has more headroom than the coupe aswell. Like its not spacious, but it is bearable.. |

I'm 6 foot, and took the 135i for a test drive today (wow, what a f*&^ing car!), and my 6' 3" mate came along for the ride, seated in the back behind me. He said it wasn't too bad, but wouldn't want to do a long trip seated in the back.

Anything is possible, but really, the back is "kids only".

Your son was only saying all this because he is afraid that any unfavourable comment by him about rear seat room will caused him to be kick out of home! Lol
