I’m new here on Bimmerpost and looking for some advice.
I have a 2019 BMW X1 F48 with an Entrynav2 head unit (Magneti Marelli EE0002, Part no. 6512 9437386) that doesn’t have a WLAN/Wifi port. VIN: 3H25270. My interface is NBT EVO ID6. From my research, it looks like the only way to get CarPlay is to swap out the head unit for a different one that has a WiFi port. Is this possible? If so, what’s the process? I’ve heard you need to flash the new head unit and obtain FSC codes. Has anyone done this before, and can you share your experience or any tips? Thanks in advance for any help |

just pay to have this done.
you can buy the hu and screen (if needed) and they can code it all for you. replacing a hu is not a simple process. https://www.codemybimmer.ca |

I’ve been thinking about this, but rather than an Android screen, I may well go with a Linux screen when they become available for the X1 F48. I have an iPhone and don’t really need Android; Linux screens seems to boot faster too. Thanks
