similar design, but no. asa ar1's are made in korea using technology licenced by bbs, and are cast wheels. bbs rs-gt's are forged and made in japan.
asa imho seem to be a good value for the money.

and the price of ASA is 1/5 price of BBS. Make your selection base on your budget. I pick ASA to save me some $$$ for something else. Also, I won't have to be stuck with one style if I want to get other wheel styles.

I really wish that they'd make a staggered fitment for the AR1s in 18s...I really don't want to go much larger than that.
Are a lot of folks doing 225/40/18s all the way around?

yeah, i dont' think you'd be happy with ar-1s in 18". due to the lip they will look small. if you want 18's, consider o.z. super/ultra leggerras, lightweight, and reasonably priced.

asa is a 1 piece wheel, BBS RS GT is a 2 piece wheel.
the BBS RS GT is even more expensive than the LM...and i would prefer the LM. greets

On the E90 I prefer the LM.
But a friend of mine has the BBS RS GT on his Wiesmann. |

They look very similar but the RS-GT looks alot more refined to me because the spokes themselves are thinner and more sharp. Not that the ASAs are bad in anyway, but when u see them in person next to real RSGTs the difference is obvious.

Definitely not the same. Design is similar, but the BBS will be higher quality. Having said that, the ASA isn't that bad in quality, and a good alternative if you're looking to save some money.
