Can someone advise iPod connection install?

So I made a mistake, I admit it. I ordered without the USB/iPod connection and now I'm wondering if it was such a mistake after all? Can someone advise what would be best (e.g. Dealer install, other shop, self install)? I don't need the USB, just the simple connection for iPOD's. Thank you!!!!

you can still hook it up with an 1/8" male to male stereo cable with the auxilary input. I believe you can also get the ipod interface from your dealor.

What do you mean by iPod interface? As in installation by dealer? Any idea on cost?

The dealer installed one imitates the CD changer and is I think $350. It isn't quite as elegant but it works.

It's really a safety issue as you don't have to look down at the ipod while you are driving. An alternative would be to just get a cable for the aux in and put the ipod in the cupholder... try this thread:
