Fikse Profil10 or DPE GT7

Trying to decide which wheel I like more... The fikse is a classic mesh design, while the GT7 is a little more modern and open. The Fikses would be about $700 more total, which isn't a huge deal, but it is 700 bones. So keep that in mind... Which one do you like more? I would do both in a "brushed" finish.

I'm partial to the Fiske. Reminds me of the BBS CH wheels if I remember correctly. Plus, I don't like chrome. Maybe that's why I don't like the second one.

The Fikse Profil 10s are nice. Do you know whether the 17" and 18" will fit the 135i?

They are both forged and I would imagine somewhere below 20lbs for 18".

I know that 18" will fit due to the custom nature of the wheels... You specify size and offset and they build them. The only thing keeping the 17" from fitting would be brake clearance, but I highly doubt it would be an issue.

Think I like the Fiske a little better,..but Im on the fence between Overall looks, and "cleanability"
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Morr VS7's but....
..the more open designs out there will allow you to reach through and clean off those big beautiful Brakes.

Gizmo, have you completed the fitment data sheet? Curious as I don't pick up my 135i until late May in Munich. Thanks.

No I have not, I have a pretty competent Fikse dealer about a mile away from where I live, so I'm just going to let them take all the measurements, while I keep a watchful eye.

A lot of beer can be purchased with $700.

I had 18" Fikse FM10's on my black 300ZXTT. In fact it is pictured on their website. I don't know if there are any others but it shows the license plate which was MYFRLDY. Anyway, the only wheel I have ever owned that might be as good is the RAC monolite RG4's that I have from my E46 M3. I really loved the Fikse wheels, but for me it depends on the car and the size of the wheel. I think the 18" FM10 might look a bit small on the 1 series due to the spoke design, but it is one heck of a wheel...stylish, light, strong. Post pics when you get them!!!

The top ones are some of the best looking wheels around for this type of car IMO. I may buy a set myself.

I like the look of the Fiske. The polished lip and silver center looks way better then the all chrome look of the DPE. I HATE CHROME.

I would also do the DPEs in a brushed center finish.

I guess either one as long as the center is brushed aluminum not chrome plated or whatever. Or machined aluminum. Just no chrome look. YUK.
