Replacing the black covering that goes over your pipes (look to see what I mean)
Sorry, don't really know how to explain what this part is, but...
Does anyone know if this piece will ever be available as an aftermarket part? I think it makes the back end of the 1er so much more attractive and sportier. What I'm talking about is circled in red in the picture. This is off of the AC Schnitzer concept car. Jake |

As 1er Torjan said there is already one made by BMW. FYI the piece is called the Rear Diffuser. In case you want any more information on the topic

You can take it off and have it painted. In the DIY section there is a thread on uninstalling/installing the carbon fiber rear diffuser. You can follow this to take the stock one off. Take it somewhere for a quick paint job. If you got money get the carbon fiber and have that color matched before you put it on.

there is a non carbon version as well to save some money
