Wheels offset.
I was testing some offsets to see what s possible.
I have put on the front a 8x18 offset 49 with a 10mm spacer so it s offset 39 then. That fits ok. It has about 1.5 cm clearance on the strut side. The wheels with 1.2 degree camber sits nicely into the fenders. Much wider to fender side is not so nice for looks. The fronts with 8.5J x18. ET 40 7mm less clearance and 5 mm wider oudside i did not test this. I think its possible. But its close. you must dail in more camber to get a nice stance. Be aware if you fit coilovers front you will have less clearance at the strut side. The rears 8x18 with 235 tires offset 34 is about the absoluut limit on the fender side. If you go with wider rims it has to go more to the inside. With 8.5 j rims back ET40 is limit on the fender side. Here you can measure what et you should do with 8.5 of 9j rims to compare. http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=12 |
