Wheel Recommendations
Hey everyone -
I've been lurking for about a month now and have learned a ton about the e90 that I couldn't have found otherwise. I'm waiting on the delivery of my new 330i near the end of June. Reading this board helps pass some of that time. Two of the first things I want to do are tint and wheels. Probably 25% (Texas max) ceramic all around, and maybe darker in the rear window. Anyway, which wheels would everyone suggest?

My recent beloved rim for Jet Black is OZ Michellangelo-2 Patent Lip Always love Hartge Classics II and also love Breyton's new Type-10.

The Spirits w/ silver look really nice on black, but I'm going for more of a consistent look. That's why I really like the anthracite finish on the CK's. With the tint, I hope that it will be an overall grey car. Maybe I should do another poll with BBS CK vs silver Spirits?

just a question..how much do you guys pay for the OZ or the BREYTON wheels, lets say in 19" in the US ?
Breyton is fu**in expensive here in Germany although Breyton is a German manufacturer. Thats why i chose the RH, look similar to the Breyton Sprit, which i actually wanted, but therefore 20". greets

Spend a little more and go for some BBS RGR in black diamond...you may be the second person in town to have some on an E90 after I order mine (but mine will be on Arctic).
Best price I've found for BBS so far is sosperf.com. Send them some email for a quote. BTW, I assume you're going to Sunbusters for the tint? They do a great job. The ceramic is great with the heat around here! |

I'll probably do the BBS CK's (car doesn't arrive for another month ). The RGR's look great, but I dunno if I can do $700/ea.
I've been asking around where to go for the tint. Sunbusters is actually just down the road from where I work, so I may check them out. Do you know what kind of prices they charge? Also heard the Razor's Edge is really good. Probably need to start up a new thread for Austin-area tint if there isn't one already.

You can get those RGRs about $75 cheaper than that if it helps. And you can get them in 18x8 and 18x8.5 staggered if that was a consideration as well.
BTW, $400 for the Formula One Ceramic tint at Sunbusters. |

Ok, ok, ok. You may have talked me into the RGR's. Being about a third lighter than the CKs is what's making me rethink it. Thanks for the quote on Sunbusters. Sounds like they're the ones I'll probably use.
