Aftermarket Navi in E90

Guys,

Was anyone successful installing an aftermarket navi (big size one like 6.5-7")? I have a Clarion N.I.C.E. and can't find a good way to mount it to the dash board. I don't wanna mount it to the glass because of the viewing space of the road. If anyone installed something like this, please, let me know and post the pix if possible.

Well, one guy even replaced the head unit for the aftermarket one with navi. system, but he lost all the control of the steering wheel button.
