Cost of stock air valve caps?

I'm going to be heading up to my local BMW dealer tomorrow to get a replacement air valve cap for my back right wheel because the guy who installed my PS2s today somehow lost it when putting on the tire and I wanted to find out how much you guys think it will cost. I'd think they would just give it to me for free considering it's only one, but it couldn't be more than 2 bucks or something right?

I got these locking ones for mine after I had 2 of the original ones "disappear" one day. Only cost me $12.95 w/free shipping. http://spin-caps.com/tab2/store/cate.../Chromies.html

They should throw it in. A few pennies at the most!

the stock ones have no logos

you can get any type of chrome ones for cheap or free. Walmart to any carparts store will have em.

If you want the logo, then id go to the dealer.

I had to replace a couple that got stolen off my car while parked (amazingly it happened while my car was parked in a fairly nice hotel in Niagara Falls, Canada).

The cost to replace was about 75 cents each (from the parts department at my dealer). I figured I would try to answer the original question.

Thanks. I went to my local BMW dealership today to find the parts department closed 15 minutes earlier. What pissed me off is that I only needed one cap and they wouldn't even offer to take it off one of their cars in the lot. I thought about taking one myself but then decided I wouldn't because I know how I would feel if I bought a brand new car missing a air cap.

They even had a set of BMW air caps in the glass case right next to me but said they couldn't sell them to me because they were display. WTF... they couldn't replentish the supply tomorrow morning when the parts department opened?

Finally I went over the service department to see if they had any lying around. No luck.

A very unproductive half hour.

What sucks even more is that they won't be open until Tuesday. Damn the holiday weekend!

Damn that sucks. I'd hate to see how they are when you REALLY need something.
