I'm not sure - but perhaps I'll be the first. I have a black 135i currently bobbing the waves on the Phoenix Leader due to arrive at port on March 22nd. I'm told by my dealer that it will be prepped and ready at the end of March :w00t:

Supposedly there will be many in denver getting their car on march 22 but if they aren't on the board they don't get the prize.

Our 135 is due at the port on March 24th so we'll have to bribe somebody at the VPC to be first. Dang!

My ED is on May 13th, so I probably won't see it here until late June or early July.

The salesman at my local dealer claims that their black 135i (auto tranny) is the only 1-series in the whole state as of yesterday.

Then again, this IS a salesman we're talking about. So take it with a grain of salt.

The sticker was in the 42K range, with sports, auto, and some other stuff.

Neither the salesmen knew when a 135i stick was going to come in. It looks like their first allocations may be all autos. Anyone heard different? I'm getting more interested in taking one for a test drive, at least.

I've ordered mine through Murray. apparently I am the first on the list for the public cars at this dealer - 1 of 9 total that they have been allocated for the whole year. They got the demo in this Wed and I b-lined straight there for a test drive. It's a sapphire black w/red leather (forgot the BMW name for it), sport package, premium, and auto. It is a BLAST to drive (even in auto) - more power everywhere than my chipped Audi S4 biturbo.

My salesman confirmed that mine will be docking on the 24th and should be ready to go by the first week of April. I ordered 6sp, jet black w/black leatherette, brushed alum interior trim, sports pack, premium radio w i-pod adapter. Can't wait to see how the 6sp drives!

They also just go tin the M3 - pretty nice car!

I think every dealer got one like that, I know for a fact Co's In Loveland got one, they got it on Tuesday and I drove it Wednesday. I'm pretty sure Gebhardt in Boulder got one also. They both got SGM cars also but they were both pre-sold. Co's is supposed to get a manual in 4-6 weeks and Gebhardt's website says they have a manual "incoming" what that means I have no idea but I've already told the salesman to let me know when they get it so I can take it for a drive.

I've never purchased a car through Murray (or any BMW for that matter) - but I've been working with John Armstrong - he's an older rep there and a car enthusiast like us. He's really excited about the new 135i and M3 - you can tell he has passion - with racing car pictures and models in his office. I'd recommend giving him a buzz to see what he can do. I've been working with him since my deposit in Q4 last year and he has always been quick to respond and follow up on all questions.

If any of you guys in Denver would like to test drive my 6sp when I get it in a couple of weeks - let me know and I'll be happy to help out (as long as you don't pull powerslides down Speer as I'll still be breaking it in! )

Also, to make this purchase I'll have to sell my S4 in the next 2 weeks - if anyone knows of anyone in the market let me know - I'd appreciate it! (2001.5 S4 6sp, premium/sport pkg, MTM Chip, Borla cat-back, RS4 grill, sport springs, brand new summer tires, winter wheels/tires included- $16k

Just found out that Winslow does now have 2 128's. One coupe and one convert. Both autos but only the convert has sport package. I guess I will have to come to Denver for a test drive of a 135. Plan on going to Ralph Schomp since I think that is the closest to me.

I was just informed that my car arrived Sat evening and will be ready for pickup today! Unfortunately I am at the airport on the way to Casper WY

I'll be picking it up Wed evening after they apply the tint.

Awesome! I would love to check it out when you get it, especially the tint. I am looking at HO 50%. Who is installing it for you?

Did I read before you also have a 1098? I had a monster 620 that got stolen last year.

Hi John - no problem - I live downtown and you can check it out any time. Yes, I do have a 1098 - seems kind of silly to get a fast car when I have the Duc that feeds my need for speed pretty darn well........ but oh well!:iono:

I'm getting the tint done at the dealership tomorrow - going pretty dark, I believe its 30%.

Test drove one at Winslow BMW here in the Springs last Friday. Thought about it all weekend and put down deposit today with production # in hand. It should be here around June 1st. The wait begins.

I had it insured, but it was only a few months old when I got it and a major bummer.

What did you pay for the tint if you don't mind me asking?

Hopefully you were able to replace your Monster then!

I believe it came to around $300 installed at Murray for the tint. I'm headed back to Denver tonight and will be picking it up tomorrow evening

I would like to know what you think of Winslow. I'm in the Springs. Have no experience with Winslow, or BMW. Test drove the 135i last week. I didn't have much time though. I'll go back when the car is broke in and take it for a real drive. I probably won't get one till end of the year, but who knows.

Took delivery today at 5 - have only driven about 20 miles around town but I am still smiling from ear to ear:thumbup: very happy with the way the Jet Black and black with aluminum interior turned out! John Armstrong at Murray Motors was really a pleasure to work with (he even knocked off $500 from MSRP and threw in floor mats).

I'll take pics tomorrow and post them here. The 6sp is FUN!
