PS request AW 135i with M3 rims

Could someone please do the combo with the standart 260M ( http://img410.imageshack.us/img410/6620/blaubb4.jpg ) & with the 220M ( http://blogs.edmunds.com/.ee9e4b6/cm...osure..ee9e4b7 )of the M3? And would they even fit on my 135i?

Thanks!

They won't fit the 1er as the offsets are way too low (29 front 23 rear) as compared the the 1er (47 front 51 rear). They'd stick out from the fenders by ~25mm.

Couldn't he have someone machine the hub down, to get a larger offset.

At this time BMW does not make the E9X M3 rim in different offsets. They do that for some of their non-M car wheels, but I have never seen them do that with factory original M car wheels. The factory performance wheels share some attributes with the factory E9X M3 wheels, and they are available with the right offsets.

You could machine any wheel down to raise the offset, but it's got to be one of the worst ideas ever. You'll lose the hub-centric design. You'll lose some of the structural integrity built into the wheel by the manufacturer. If the machine job isn't PERFECT you'll likely get a wobble at speed, especially on a BMW, which is picky about wheels already. The amount of material around the lugs would be reduced, thus making the wheel more prone to damage at the mounting surface.

Those look like factory 19 inch E46 M3 wheels (style 67). They are available 19X8 ET47, so they would fit if you got 4 fronts and put them all the way around.

Thanks - good to know - would the rears in a staggered set not fit? Are they 8.5 ors 9.0's?

The rears would not fit. They are 9.5X19 ET 27 meaning they would stick out an extra 38mm over stock. That is the definition of not fitting.

Call me crazy but I think Style 22's might look good on the 1. M68s too.

Would 18" OEM E46 Style 67 M3 wheels fit on a 135i?

Not as a square set. 18" vs 19" makes little to no difference, the issue is the offset. The rear wheels are 9" wide with a +26 offset which is a solid 15-20mm away from fitting nicely. However, the fronts are 18" x 8" with a 47 offset so you could run a square setup with 4x front wheels.
