Racing stripes and "TURBO" reverse letters

Since the 1 Series is marketed with referrences to the old 2002, it has crossed my mind to have racing stripes and the "TURBO" reverse lettering put on my 135i (like the 2002 Turbo). I not sure if the turbo print would look right, but perhaps the racing stripes would be cool.

Has anyone else thought about this?

No stripes for me, but I would not mind a good looking

"TWIN TURBO" or "BI TURBO" trunk emblem...

I prefer debadged but a nice, simple "BiTurbo" put in place of the 135i wouldnt be bad.

I'm either putting M strips on my car or M flags like the e36 m3 lightweight. but I'm definitely getting alpine white and putting some sort of M colors on it.

Oh ya no turbo badge

This is what I'm talking about. I'd prefer the strips to go straight across the car from the front left to right rear:thumbup:

^ seriously?

I wouldn't want to advertise it myself...

I'd rather people who didn't know what it is to mistake it for something less potent, like a 128i...

I always go for the shaved look...

That rocks. I was thinking it'd be cool to find/make some 130ttii badges.

What are we driving here (or planning to), AMG's or BMW's?

Mercedes = Bi-Turbo
BMW = Twin Turbo

Yes but to US Americans, it's a "twin" not "bi"

congrats on linking a website that labels the turbos incorrectly.

still doesn't change the fact that 2 different sized turbos in series = twin turbo; and 2 same-sized turbos in parallel = biturbo.

the n54 IS a biturbo engine.
