99.9 MPG on a 325i WTF???
WTF, how the hell can i get 99.9mpg?
anyone? the last mod i did to my car was the injen with the MAF sensor, thats all. and after the install it was all running perfectly and the BC numbers are all normal like 23.5 mpg. did my car suddnely turn into a hybrid? i resetted the MPG number on the BC and now it seems correct and not giving me this crazy MPG

So if you reset it and drive normally, what happens?

You know... If you left it in gear instead of putting it in neutral it would actually use less gas. While in neutral, the fuel pump needs to pump fuel to your engine to idle. If you leave it in gear, your fuel pump doesn't have to do anything if you don't have your foot on the gas pedal.

doing that will cause the opposite, a tendency towards 0.0 mpg...i think you're mixing up mpg with l/km

Well there's one MPG that tell you your entire MPG and then another one that says your current MPG. If you take your foot off it says 99.9 if you step on it, it goes down to 8 or something like that. You were probably on that reading, not your entire MPG.
