Ok I was looking at my car today and I have the universal transciever thing to open like your own garage door... So I was wondering since it finds out the codes to your garage, does this mean like the gated communitys near my house I could pull up to one of the gates and just open it (cuz it finds the codes to open them right?) Or am I not understanding how it works correctly...
Not like I want to brake into peoples houses just saying thats kind of cool/creepy...if it works that is...

It doesn't find the code as such. It needs to be taught the code by holding an existing programmed remote within a few inches of your rearview mirror.

No just saying it would be kind of cool like cuz some of my buddys live in the gated communitys and I hat having to call them over the stupid box thing in the front! Would be just cool to show up there

And I'm not going to lie if I could open peoples garage doors like anyones with my car I would not mind at all parking outside of someones house and F-ng with them for like 30mins LOLOLOL Just imagine..."Why does this darn thing keep opening???"
