Issue with Operating system??

Hi everyone,
So I recently purchased an X3 M40 with the two hitch already installed and ready to go!
However, when I try to activate Trailer Mode, the option simply isnt there.
I have done some googling and I cant seem to find any assistance on what the issue could be. AS you know, It’s supposed to be there whether or not I have an electrical connection to the hitch. (I’m using it for a bike rack).
Any ideas??

Did you buy it used? If from the factory, it absolutely will have the electrical connection.
But if someone just installed the factory hitch later without doing the electrical, then - well this might be that. Is there an electrical connector to the left of the hitch?

I do have the factory hitch, I use it for bikes only with no electrical, and I have trailer mode in the options.

I did buy it used. From the dealer. And I checked the VIN and it was factory installed.
