What head unit do you have? You can do it on NBT and NBT Evo for sure. I believe the variable to look for is AUDIO_SYSTEM_VAR as this supposedly controls EQ.
My car has Hifi audio, so I have an amp but not the Harman Kardon amp and it is set to variant1. I'm pretty sure my previous F30 which had base audio defaulted to variant2. A couple of other variables to check out are: AMPLIFIER_VARIANT - mine is set to external AUDIO_SYSTEM - mine is set to hifi Hifi amp is just a basic amp and has no communication with the MOST bus, no EQ etc so I'm sure if you add an amp and run the wires from the back of the head unit to the amp, then the speakers into the amp that this coding should do the trick as it'd effectively be the same setup as the Hifi system anyway. |
