Tyre Pressure monitor failure

Have had the tyre pressure monitor failure message appear out of the blue. Anyone with any experience of this? Is it an easy fix ie a glitch in the software or is it a replacement? Any advice will be helpful

Had this twice before.

Both times replaced under warranty

Seems to be an intermittent fault as goes days ok then warning comes up out of nowhere. Presume I have to visit BMW!
