E90 335i fuel pump problem
I recently bought a 2007 335i bone stock
i added VRSF DP BMS INTAKES BMS CHARGE PIPE BMS INTERCOOLER JB4 TUNE I installed a stage 1 fuel pump from burger motorsport everything went good put everything back to place went to start the car but nothing only cranked over but did not start sounded like it waned to but died I check everything n saw that the fuel pump fuse was out blown i changed the fuse for a new one the car started right up for few seconds sounded fine then died again the fuse was blown again I removed the stage 1 fuel pump now and when i go to turn the car over just cranks over but doesn't start up i check and the fuses are good this time but wont start now since i removed the stage 1 pump but with the stage 1 pump kept blowning the fuse any help ?? im thinking of replacing the fuel pump and probably the fuel pump module too ?? |

You may need to replace the EKPM2 or EKPM3 module. It's just a hunch. I had it a lil different, where my fuse kept blowing up after I was trying to 'upgrade' from a EKPM2 to EKPM3... that wasn't playing well for me..so another EKPM2 got me past this hurdle. I could be wrong though, but you may look into that route.
Mind you...I had already replaced the LPFP and fuel pressure regulator... and the pump wouldn't prime up then.
