F30 328i How to flash DME back to stock?

Hi,

Car: BMW F30 328i N20
DME: BOSCH MEVD1724

How can I flash my DME the easiest way?

I do NOT have the original file.
I have an ENET-cable and ISTA+ (ok with using other software)

I have talked to my BMW dealer, and asked them to update the i-level, and therefore load the original software.
But according to them it couldn’t be done because my HU has been replaced with a newer one from another BMW - and they said it couldn’t be updated because of that. Not sure if it’s accurate but that’s what they said?

So that leaves me with this I guess:

Flash the DME myself.

Either with a stock file (where can I find that?) – or worst case with any tuning file that works 100%.

Which software/program can flash only the DME? E-sys or other?

Need your tips on how it can be done the easiest way!

Use Esys to flash the DME. That should bring it to stock

Perfect, thanks!

I've read something about it could be wise skipping the newest PSdZData?

That the lastest versions has some kind of new anti tuning security that will lock the DME?

What exact version should I look for to skip the new anti tuning security if that's the case?

If you want to avoid updating to latest software you can just re-flash the same files in you DME. Use same svt ist in svt soll and load tal-filter to force DME flash.
You can also generate orig file using your DME SVK.

Thanks again for guiding me through this!

Just bear in mind, I have never ever used E-Sys before, so I’m just a bit careful so I won’t do anything stupid.

I have this if it’d be any help:
Current: I-level, SWFL, HWEL, BTLD, CAFD, and PRG (hex)
(plus numbers from factory software)

Current error code:
201101 - DME, protection against tampering: Program or data manipulation detected

Sounds great to re-flash the same files in the DME.

Does it matter which version of E-sys I use?
Does it matter which version of PSdZData_full i use?
Does it have to match the current one in the car right now?

Thanks again for the help!

If you you know any quide/ link to some basic E-sys I’ll look into that directly so I won’t have to bother you with all my newb questions

Found this but not sure if it’s the best option for what I’m about to do:
