Wheel Brush Recommendations

Would love to hear your recommendations on wheel brushes. There are so many options and I want to make sure I get something high quality that will not harm my wheels.

Hmm well, I only used mine once. We'll see how long it last.

How many times have you used it? Because at $10, I can buy one every 4-6 months and never notice.

Also, maybe I should've been more descriptive. I'm more looking for a good brush for the face of the wheels than for the barrel or between spokes.

I've had it for a few years and I do use it on the barrel. For the face I just use a microfiber wash mitt.

I could just use a mitt, I guess. Ashamed to say I didn't think about it. When I think about agitating wheel and tire cleaner, I just think brushes. I have one fire the tires and I have a soft one that does okay between spokes. It's hard to get to the barrels on mine with the 635 wheels, but you also can't see much of the barrel.

The X7 we just got has the 21" 754M wheels and that's what prompted me to ask. They should be much easier to clean, face and barrel, than my 635's.

I'm very happy with the brush. I use a separate bucket for the wheels and I use this brush for the faces. I use something similar that everyone else uses for the barrels and between the spokes. The brush made it easier to get both the face and between spokes with my OEM wheels. I use a microfiber cloth to dry.

The brush I have is the exact same one I posted, but I have the longer handle version. I don't like the extra length and I hold the brush closer to the head, hence why I suggested the stubby handle.

No brushes or bristles allowed in my detailing toolbox. Scratch, scratch, scratch.

Soft MF only and some Sonax and a little agitation with this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Still on this one after almost a year and I use it weekly. I rinse it with hot water. But even if it deteriorated, for $8 bucks, it's pretty much disposable.

Looks good. I have something similar from Adams that I've been using a while. It works well.

Yep, the Adams offering inspired me to get this one. It's funny, of all the stupid money I spend on detailing supplies, I got cheap with this item. I figured for $8 bucks I'll give it a shot vs. $20-$30 for the Adams offerings. I was pleasantly surprised.

I am intrigued by the thinner version of what you posted. The M Sport wheels on the x7 will be easy to clean, but the wheels on my 540 have a lot of spokes and it's a pain to get between them all with the current version I have.

I've tried some (admittedly cheap) wheel woolies and the spaces are so tight that it destroyed the whoolie.
