Jbl subwoofer amplifying gurgles help

So I know you can select different noise settings.

The problem I have is my after market subwoofer is amplifying the pops and gurgles excessively. Anyone know if there is a way to not have the subwoofer handle the pops and gurgles and just the music like it's supposed to?

I don't want to turn the gurgles off but don't know what else to do

ASD is intergrated with the ram module which is connected to your source signal. No way ATM to separate it, you gonna have to code ASD off.

the only thing ASD should be doing is creating a engine rumble/humming type noise to give more "engine presence". There is physically no pops/burbles that are output through the speakers.

Before I coded ASD off and installed my amp it made the "burbles" louder when it was downshifting in my 22MY.

I don't physically understand how that's possible as your engine is creating burbles through the exhaust pipes. The ASD is just mimicking the engine noise by rpm and such.

it was mimicking burbles or what seemed to be burbles. After coding ASD off I no longer heard it inside the cabin and was more faint since the sound was now only coming from the rear of my X3.

I wouldn't make it up...engine and exhaust noise became louder after installing amp and after coding off ASD, nothing.

What year is your vehicle. If you turn off ASD it will also remove engine burbles from the exhaust.
