You mean launch control? Yes, included already.

which has a "sprint function", that is while cruising or making a overtaking and you need fast all the power, you press the left paddle shifter for more the 1 second, and you have all the power you need to overtake, without taking your eyes from the road.

I thought all the BMW's have that. Keeping the left paddle shifter pressed drops you down to the most effective gear for the most power that can be delivered at a given speed.
There's no mode that'll give you more power temporarily than the maximum advertised hp

I tried it on my may 2022 built M40i. It's not working on my German spec car.

This seems like something new that will also put you into a sport driving mode, etc., not just put it into the lowest gear.

I suspect it’s not available on the current X3, just like the adaptive driving mode (can’t be coded but was on pre LCI x3) shown on the car in the video. Here’s what happens currently -

I just floor the accelerator and no issue with immediate available power for overtaking. Also means I don’t need to fiddle with paddles and holding for 1 second, which is a long time in that kind of situation lol.

Now it would be great if the paddle could be used to switch between driving experience modes without taking hands off the wheel or talking to hey BMW.

The sprint function will also put you into a sport driving mode from etc or comfort mode, not just put it into the lowest gear.

Like I said above, some features such as Adaptive Driving mode were drooped from the G01/G02 LCI. However, it is still available on other current BMW models, just as with pre LCI G01/2.

Honestly, not really sure of the benefit of sprint mode, but Adaptive Driving mode is a loss IMO (:

So it’s basically selecting driving modes using the paddle, which could be useful if the car doesn’t have Adaptive Driving Experience mode. Always thought it was pretty stupid design to put the modes on the lower centre console rather than the wheel.

Haven’t seen this on an LCI G01/2. I know it isn’t possible to recode Adaptive Driving Experience Mode that is available on other BMW models, and pre LCI G01/2.

The pre LCI G01/2 had the option for Adaptive Driving Experience Mode, but it’s not available on the LCI models.
