Recommended RFT's?

I know there are a number of threads regarding this subject, but I'm now needing a new set of tyres for my 335i, I was considering changing to non RF's but having read the post of DXB a while ago(That was a great read by the way

) I think I'll stick to the RFT's.
So my question is, from the limited choice of RFT's available which is considered the best and do any offer improved ride quality or do I need to get my car booked into birds for a suspension upgrade?

i wouldn't know of any good RFTs. all I know is that I'm glad I have non-RFTs on my car now and that i got rid of those POS tires that the car came with. does the post you mentioned have any reasonable arguments that RFTs are better because i wouldn't know of any.

as far as rft in the US market, I believe you only get 2 choices, the Bridgestone RE050A and the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. I have not used Michelin RFT so I have no idea.

However, I heard terrible stories back in 2006 about Honda Odyssey owner with Michelin RFT. I know this is 2008 so maybe Michelin resolved their RFT issues. Read here for the problem with Michelin RFT.

What has this to do with Michelin RFT ? The PAX is not the same system as RFT (Michelin calls their runflats ZP for "Zero Pressure").

I thought about switching to non rtf's but ended up getting the Michelin ps2 RFT and I'm glad I did. They are a world of difference then the stock Bridgestones I had. If you are going to stick with rtf's I would get the Michelins.

how much was one michelin compare to the bridgestone?
