Nice! Looks good.

Are roads usually pretty well cleared in Montréal? I'm in the Boston area with a 330i and I'm not planning on getting snow tires. Massachusetts winters are easily survivable without them since roads are quickly cleared and it doesn't snow that much.
I'm going to be driving up to Montréal and Ottawa in January though. Think I'll be ok without them or should I suck it up and spend the money on snows?

Did you get run-flat snows?

We must live in different parts of Massachusetts.

It really doesn't snow that much. We get maybe one or two decent sized storms a year and the rest of the snow falls, which aren't many more, are just a bit which is typically cleared pretty quickly and melts pretty quickly.

I still haven't ruled it out though. The drive to Montréal and Ottawa via Vermont alone may push me over the edge. I've just got sticker shock at the cost of RFT snows. $750 for four Pirelli Sottozeros and then the cost of two mount/dismounts which turns out is more expensive for RFTs...

Starting today (Dec 15th), every car in the province of Quebec MUST have snow tires. It's the law.

Crap. I don't want to spend so much on tires

They are 17 inch, Styling 135 replicas.
The rubbers are Dunlop Graspic DS-2, non run flats. I got the set from a friend who was returning his leased e90 325i.

The last couple years have been crazy in regards to snow fall. Even without the new winter tire law I would never drive without a set of winter tires. The wifey has already gotten stuck 2 times and needed to get BMW to tow her out of the snow, and its only Dec 15th!

I don't disagree that we don't get that much snow, but removal is another matter. Main roads and highways are usually cleared promptly, but my street often doesn't get cleared until a day or two after the snow stops. And, a few "eco-conscious" towns around Boston (particularly in the Metrowest and Northwest corridors) use only the bare minimum road treatments (salt or sand), which often leaves their roads slippery for days to weeks after any significant winter weather occurs.
