Hello! I know this is an old thread.. I just purchased the LCI lights and im hoping to install them using your guide! Would you happen to remember which specific bolt/nut sizes you had to remove to do the install? In your video you mention size 10 but I think there is a few others that may be different sizes. thanks! X3m40i tech

allows some to feel as if they have the LCI version. Lights do look better in my opinion and i would only buy OEM and not the China reps like alot do.

plenty of great YouTube videos already posted with a simple search you can find a lot of DIY videos. install with US version lights on US spec car should take you about 30-60 mins to swap. Super easy and i have done this on over 8 cars so far.

I think 2018 is the only year to have the badge in that placement. MY X3MC has it located there as well and my wife's x3m40i has it on the bottom, which I refer on non-M models. Enjoy Lights look good

Good idea is a relative term here. It's a simple swap, and some of us like the LCI halo sword style lights better. I've done it to both our 2021 M40i's. Used off Ebay was cheaper than new from a dealer by hundreds for each set, even if they didn't come as a set and had minor/unnoticeable imperfections. The harness repin was the hardest part, and easy enough to put back stock if you want the pre lci lights again.

If you found a new set of 4 for 500 pounds, sounds like a steal. A new set of 4 here is about $1100 USD.

I considered an X3M, but the drop in fuel economy (on top of being more expensive in general for a DD) pushed me to tune an M40 instead.
