Tach bouncing around = rough idle issue?
I have noticed over the last 5,000 miles that my tach has been bouncing around weirdly at idle. Nothing huge, no almost stalling or anything. It just bounces around about 50- 100 rpm in an erratic fashion (kinda like it is possessed or something)?
Again it does not seem like anything life threatening, but I was wondering if others are having a similar issue? Also, my friend just took her car in for a cold start issue and ended up shelling out $1800 for a cam sensor replacement, which I don't want to do. I will see her later today and see if her car has the same bouncing around or if the tach sits there.
