Exclamation door locks?????

i got in my car today and all my presets were gone, my side mirrors were not in the same position and neither was my seat. I've read in a couple of threads of others having this problem but has anyone experienced this next one? My doors do not require 2 pulls from the handle on the inside anymore when it is locked. Whats up with that? any ideas?

Did you use a different key fob?

Preferences follow the fob.

doesn't it need 2 pulls no matter what setting you have for the door locks?

It will require 2 pulls if you locked it with the key fob.
Otherwise, it will require 1 pull if you locked it with the button on the dash.

Two pulls when activated with the iDrive locking after 8km/h (or whatever the spreed is) in my car. The two pulls really confuse new passengers. It is realy quite amusing watching them pull the first time and keep pulling (gently) because the door does not open.

Once I explain to them BMW car door locking philosophy, they are quite impressed. They open the door on the secong pull.

Got it,thanks. Just drove it, same key fob and it seems to have reset itself back to two pulls.
