[1st PICTURE!!] Will I regret having to wash these wheels?
I'm considering new rims for quite a long time, but apperantly I'm not a quick decider...
But at the Essen Motorshow last week, I saw these Lexani RT-149 rims (normally absolutely no fan of Lexani's). If I should buy them, it would have to be 20's I guess. But those bolts (or nuts, however they call them) have always scared me. Most of all because I'm afraid it's almost impossible to keep them clean, unless you wash it every few days of course... And on the other hand, I don't really like the looks of it, although they don't seem to bother me on this version... So, because I have the impression that espacially in America, there are way more rims of this kind (I mean the bolts/nuts on them), can you guys give me good advices?? ... of course you can ... Thank you! On the wrong car, but just to get an impression (aren't they a little thin...?): I also have a picture of these rims in a catalogue, fitted on an E92, looks way better!!! But can't find this picture on the internet. I'll scan it and attach it in a few days...

Wish we here can help you out to decide. We really need to see photos of them installed on a car to give our opinion.
Lexani doesn't sell some of their styles here in the States, especially that one in particular. If you like it then, get them. For me, i don't really care what other people think of what i do or don't put on my car. It's not theirs...... |

those wheels DO look easy to clean. you won't have a problem cleaning the bolts, cause they rarely attract dust (at least for me)

Well, there's some useful stuff in your answers!
It seems I definitely don't have to hold back on these rims out of 'fear' of cleaning them... Nice to know they shouldn't attrack as much brake dust as the rest of the rims probably will, and perhaps even bether to know there are rims which are way more difficult to (keep them) clean! Also nice to know is that they will come with ET values from +15 to +45 ! Just have to figure out which values exactly will be available, and which will fit best on the front and rear axle.. As soon as I have my catalogue back, I'll post the picture of these rims on an E92, as promissed!

Yeah, those look relatively simple to clean. You can even get your hand in there to clean the barrels.

[UPDATED with PICTURE!!]
As promised, the only picture I have of this wheel on an BMW E92 (I also have one on a black Lexus IS; very nice too).
As you can see by the poor quality, it's from a paper catalogue. If someone should have it digitally, All reactions are welcome off course...
