Break-in service glitch

So, it's been a day of BS.
If you've seen my 'window tint gone wrong post' you'll know why.
Bizarrely, after collecting the car I had a weird issue.
Finally I can wring it's neck, but no.
The attached picture shows the issue.
Notice that the engine temp is perfect, but the car is restricting my revs to below what a cold start would be.
Really starting to have second thoughts about owning this car after today.

A couple of things - try to stop the car, close it and then re-open and drive. Sometimes after BMW service car still thinks that it's in dealership mode.
Other thing to check - valet mode. Maybe its turned on.

Thanks.
I did manage to clear it, it's just been one of those days and I'm a bit fed up with 'ongoing issues'.
This just topped it off, even though it's a minor thing sometimes it's those things that make you second guess your decisions.

Park up, switch off, let the ECU go to bed for the night and see how it is in the morning. I reckon you'll be alright 👍🏻.

Just one of those days and tbf, your initial issue was the tint installers fault, not the car's.

The car has been fine yes, the problem is everyone who's touched it has fucked it up in some way. Including the dealer as of today.
One of those situations you'd have to be in yourself I guess.
I've worked all my life to finally order my dream BMW.
It's now a second hand car and these idiots have taken away my new car experience.
Three months after the damage was done, it's still not fixed.
Does that affect how I feel about the whole situation.
100%.
The experience has been ruined, cars fault or not.

OPF warm-up or re-gen cycle perhaps?

Not sure.
Just not what I expected?

It's either that or the fuel level is low. The active CCM would have provided you details.

Sorry to the OP.

Another good example of why I don’t like other people touching my toys.

Hang in there OP! Every new car turns into a used car.
