Actually, they both look fine.. I don't know why everybody is obsessed with slamming their cars.

I think it's a big no no to have 19s w/out drop. Maybe you can get away with it if you have 20s since it'll reduce that gap a little more, but 19s and no drop is pretty funny looking imo. However I am referring to an e92. For some reason on e90s you can get away with it w/out looking like a monster truck. You don't necessarily have to slam your car, but lowering the car will not only enchance the car asthetically, but also in handling/performance with the lower center of gravity. But then again I may not know what the hell i'm talking about so take it as a grain of salt. that is all

But with the road conditions here and the stupid speed bumps that I encounter daily at work parking lot and up/downhill... I am not sure if I want to drop the car, as the gap is decent.. With drop and front lip, i dont think the lip / bottom of my car can survive for long. I guess it depends on where you life and how you think of your car.

I actually think they look nice and the gap can be smaller, but I think it is acceptable... with the road conditions on the east coast.... i dont think I will drop my car too..

I have an xi which is considered to be the highest off the ground. No way I'm getting a drop though, between our horrible broken roads here in Toronto and the 5 months of snow it really wouldn't be a good idea. Plus I've gathered from enough people that lowering springs can really harm the vehicle's performance and comfort but I can't justify spending the thousands on KW V3s to do it right. Bad photo as the car is parked a bit nose down thus making the tail seem even higher than it is. But in reality there's really nothing wrong with the way the gap looks, I've compared and the gap even on an xi is still less than your average modern family car.

i guess we're just spoiled out here in california. I guess your reasons not to lower your vehicle are legit reasons. Just go with 20s then. haha

I bent 3 19" rims (from my previous set) because of the potholes we have here after the winter, with 20's I'd have probably torn off the entire corner of my car!
