You can't fit 16 foot wheels on an E90. You can definitely fit 16 inch wheels as BMW offers 16" OEM wheels on the sedan.

+1, 16' not a chance, 16" yes but only on the 325 or smaller displacement models. 17" is the minimum on a 330 to clear the brakes.

ahh good call with the ' my bad...but thanks i am starting to look at winter wheels and just want to know wut my options are

Keep in mind that there are always exceptions though. There will be some 16" rims that won't fit on a 323/325, while there will also be 17" that have trouble fitting on a 330. Even with the proper offset, the spoke design may be a culprit.
