Boost Leak?

I'm FBO, running bootmod3 stage 2 and i randomly got a drivetrain malfunction code. i recently went back to stock dp, and tune for emissions test here in CA and im still getting the code ... but it comes and goes?

So recently, I've been getting a drivetrain malfunction with the following codes:

123432 Electric Wastegate, Stop Learning: stop position(wastegate closed) outside tolerance

123401 No description available

120408 Charge pressure control, shutdown: pressure build-locked

I ended up resetting the codes, restarted my car and everything drove fine. Then about a week later I got the code again on the highway, and basically did the same car drove fine!

That next morning, I checked the chargepipe and refitted the connections; I immediately noticed my car running better boost wise however, just this morning again I got the code again!

I'm looking at the electric wastegate and it seems to be operating normally as far as opening and closing goes, but it does look like on the cat heating cycle it opens all the way then kinda drops in a bit and stays in that same position, about 75% pulled out and closes from there.

Through searching the forums.. i see it could be a multitude of issues and it could be just that the actuator needs an adjustment but i dont have ISTA to run those diagnostics.

Could it just be bad boost solenoid? I'm so lost can someone help!

I also do have a datalog, that may help..

Not sure if this is the same, but my car (stock) had similar intermittent drivetrain malfunction warnings mostly on the highway, and no loss in power initially. However, the drivetrain malfunction warning got more frequent over two years. My car had been diagnosed by multiple shops as a wastegate leak issue (PWG so whole turbo assembly has to be replaced). This year I started actually losing some power so a couple of weeks ago I got the turbo assembly replaced and now it's all good. In your case (EWG), I suppose just a wastegate replacement would fix it if that's causing the issue.
