Are all TPMS created equal?

I have the option to buy the TPMS with the rims Im buying, or from tirerack when I buy my tires.

Are either okay for m6 reps? And I should just go with the cheapest? It just seems weird that there are so many different prices for them.

We buy the OEM sensors from the sensor companies in very large quantities and and thus get deep discounts on them. They are indeed the same sensors you'd get from BMW.

do tpms break easily? i bought some with my rim, but i cant seem to get it to work...i tried resetting it, but the little exclamation mark stays on my dash. thanks.
