Compared width of pilots 4s vs Pzero for spacer size calculations

So I kept reading up on Rubbing issues and spacers with different brands. I wanted to know the true difference in actual width of the tires so we can calculate rubbing issues with the spacers and what is true difference. Here are the specs and major differences from tire racks testing:
P-zero
Tread width of 9.2 inches
Pilots 4S
Tread with of 8.9 inches

If there is a .3 inch difference that in millimeters is 7.62. I would divide that in half because it is split on both sides of the tire.
So the P zero tires need roughly 3.8mm of clearance on the fender then the Michelin or another way to say it is you can run a 3.8mm bigger spacer on the Michelin which makes sense why a 12mm spacer rubs on a the p zero but 15 mm front spacer doesn’t on the Michelin…

Anyone see anything I missed?

Garage List
Interesting to see that the Pzeros are wider, lighter (and have stiffer sidewalls). That Michelin marketing budget though...

I have Pirellis with 12mm up front and no rubbing. I'm also lowered and still no rubbing.

From what I'm seeing some are running 12mm and 15mm up front with the Pirellis with no rubbing (I suppose that depends on how low the car is, and if trimming plastic at all - but seems folks can get it to work).

Sounds like its possible to run 15mm in the rear as well.

Do you rub just in front? Lowered at all?
