How Long After Springs Should I Wait To Get An Alignment

I am getting spacers and a the kw h.a.s. springs installed in a couple weeks at my local shop. How long should I wait after to get an alignment. I've heard people say 2-3 days and also have heard people waiting a full week. How long does it take for springs to settle?

You should go by miles, instead of days. I measured the drop after every 50 miles to see if it was still settling. Once you notice there is no longer a change in drop you should get an alignment.

Problem is not your camber, but your track which kills your tire faster.
As for the question, you can make the alignment after some 50 miles, there is not much to change after that.

You can go right away to a week for springs.

For HAS and coilovers, we typically recommend waiting about a week in case there are any ride height adjustments you want to make, that way you don't ruin your alignment.

Remember that while a lowered car will push camber to more negative and wear on the inside, the true wear measure is toe. Toe angles left to right and right to left from a top view of the tire. This causes scrubbing and easily faster wear. Make sure you toe is within spec.

I'm 500 miles in and haven't gotten an alignment done yet since MSS is releasing an update which helps lower the car further.

I am almost at 5K miles on MSS, still haven't done it yet. Planning on getting an alignment right before I get a new set of PS4S.

Before I found out about the update I took my car in for an alignment but the shop I got to (vin scanner) didnt have the specs yet. But they did say the camber was ok (using the Normal X drive 3 series for perspective) and toe too.

But I need to get the damn part first.

When you lower a car it generally also adds negative camber. However a lot of the times the toe will be off. I remember when I did the Eibach Pro Kit on my E46 M3 back in the day I never got it aligned and to be honest the tires were perfect.
