As above, when its pushed right down and I bring it up a bit it squeaks then stops. What does this mean?

Its happened before on my 335xi, I noticed it one night, next day it was gone. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it occurs constantly or keeps coming back.

The clutch return spring needs some lubrication. This squeak happened to me 3 weeks ago; dealer took it out, lubed it, and it's perfect now. You can probably do it yourself too, but I decided to make use of my warranty.

Mine's squeaky too on my '08 335i. It's gotten so bad it sounds like an old rusty screen door! I'm going in this week for the dealer to straighten it out.

I have the same problem with my '08 coupe too. I think it's just the spring that needs lube, but I can fit my fat ass down there to do it myself. Anyone have a DIY?

I have the same problem and mine is a 2006 325i E90 with almost 17K miles... and actually mine started making a "rattling noise" this weekend when I tap on my clutch (not completely pushed in, just a small tap)... I am planning on taking it to the dealer...
