Best tire size for VMR 710s on E92
Hi,
Ready to trade in my stock 18" Runflats and am seriously looking at VMR 710s. I'm a little hesitant going to 19" since I do occasionally track and autocross my car. But based on I have read here, it appears any performance hits will be non-existant to little. For tires, I am looking at getting the F1 Asymmetrics. So my question is which tire size should I get? My research indicates that 235/35-19 F and 265/30-19 R is recommended. Will this also be the optimum choice if I am not interested in dropping the car and my occasional track/autcross use? Thanks!

Yep, you've got the tire sizes bang on. 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear is correct sizes you should use on our staggered V710s. Sizes of your V710s should be 19x8.5 +35 front and 19x9.5 +33 rear. This is great choice if you're sticking with OEM suspension. The GY F1 Asymmetrics are great tires as well. You've chosen a great wheel and tire package

Yea, good question. It's these differences between these guys that initially were confusing.
Hopefully VMRWheels or someone else will respond.

There are a few factors that come into play when running a 245 tire. It depends on which specific tire manufacturer, spring/shock stiffness, ride height, and alignment.
If you are looking for a direct bolt-on fitment, then stick with a 235. Quote:

by the way, non flat tires makes a hugue difference in handling and riding. RFT are super hard and stiff giving more perfomance but you feel every rock on the road. The ride on the Nittos, aside from the noise is pretty soft. I am switching to Michelin Sport PS2's. By tomorrow I have them installed so, I'll post the results. Anywone in for a set of Nittos ?. will post pics also when they are off. Good Luck.

We still recommend the same wheel and tire specs, however we can't guarantee rub free fitment on lowered cars. If you are not too low you probably won't have any issues though.

For your year, the sizing listed above is what we recommend. E90 LCIs are the only ones that have a slightly different offset for the rear wheels.

Well the reason I ask is because some guys are telling me a i can get 19X10's to fit on the rear...as long as i have the correct offset. Not sure what that is though. I figured measuring it would be the most sure fire way of ordering the correct size.

19x10 can also work. You would want either 19x9.5 ET33 or 19x10 ET38 in the rear with 265/30/19 tires.

By the way, the car will be dropped...not extremely aggressive, but to the point where it's slightly noticeable. |
