Well, sweet first car. It is kind of disappointing you don't know about the chassis of your car. I'd think people would search more about the car! Well, that is what this forum is for. I don't want to poop your party, nice ride! Be prepared to mod it! (You will btw, the mod bug is contagious on this forum)

The E number indicates the car's series and generation. As of the E9x generation, it also indicates body type.

To answer your question, the E designation is the internal model code at BMW for each vehicle

E90 = sedan
E91 = sport wagon
E92 = coupe
E93 = convertible

I had no idea what the Ewhatever meant either when i got my BMW, similar situation tho... i had about 3o ooo to 4o ooo in the budget, and the car would be all mine with pretty small payments, i put close to 2o ooo down on a new 2oo8 LoL! Unfortunately, my father wasnt there to pick up the bill!

when my pops found out i bought a brand new BMW, he was PISSED...and im fu@king 31!
