Lowered G83

Anyone dropped their G83? If so what setup did you use? I am not seeing anything for them yet. So I figure I would ask the group. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response. I was reading several of the topics under suspension thread doing my research. I clicked on one of the vendors KW link and it stated that it will not fit on the vert. I cant seem to find that link again at the moment. I am assuming that that the others may not be compatible as well. I have checked KW's website and there is not an option to select the convertible. Beautiful pic!

I have an email into KW seeking more info.

Heard back from KW. They do not currently offer a kit for the convertibles. I will continue my search. I know the configuration is fairly new so it may be a little while before there is one. Anyone else have any info?

Finally installed KW HAS for the vert. Full drop on the front and rear. May need to raise the front 5-10mm. Going to let her settle first and see we're she ends up.

How is the kw kit working out for your g83? I am thinking of ordering it, any issues? Tips? Did you install any spacers?

I am one month into owning my 23' M4 competition X-drive convertible and love it. I am also looking into lowering my vehicle and I am running into a wall as far as options. Is it just Height Adjustable Spring kits vs coilovers for the convertible Xdrives? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

I ordered from EAS specifically for the G83. Been great. No squeaks or rattles. I installed no spacers. The rear almost needs to be able to go a little lower. I am at max drop and it only gave me about .5" drop. Would like it a bit lower. However, I am happy with how it turned out.

Looks good!

I’m surprised the KW kit’s drop only 1/2”. Dang I wish coilovers for the M weren’t so $$$

Car looks great.. so you only got .5" drop on the rear? What do they advertise as max adjustable drop?

Rear drop is on the KW HAS is advertised as 0.5"-1.0", we're installing a G83 HAS kit next week, so we can verify numbers if you'd like, send me a PM.

We were providing HAS spacers for the G80, which are now in the supply stream with the updated V2 spring as of a few weeks ago and are no longer needed. G82/3 Coupe/Convertible never required spacers.
