Hi.
I am ordering a non-sport package 2009 328i and I like the wheel thats included with the sport package. A while back I was able to build a car with the sport steering wheel but my dealers says this in not an option. However if you look at the new 2009 3 series brochure U see that it is an option I am willing to use this a a barganing chip for my car. If I need to buy one does anyone know what it will cost and how much.
(do I need a new air bag?) Could the dealer do something about this if they ordered the part and installed it for me when I order my car? I prefer the sport wheel maninly due to the chrome inserts in the wheel because it creates a more sporty feel and look.

you need a new airbag with the sport steering wheel, check Tischer BMW for part # and pricing. It's not a stand-alone option on the E90, you get it with the sport package

i had a sport steering wheel then i upgraded to a bmw performace wheel..
that thing is so bad @$$..lol

You cna pick up a sport wheel used on here for about $75 but You'll need the airbag like Canuck said, which is around $650.
