Steering

Hi,

I own a Bmw 320i M sport E90 2006, and well i was doing sum drifts around round abouts and now when i turn the steering wheel it makes a grinding noise and is hard to turn, however when i rev to 3500 revs it smooths up nicely. This was like this on saturday but now it has totally gone and is extremely difficult to turn. Now it makes a new noise like a rattling sort of noise.

Does anyone know what this is ? and I have the 3 year BMW warrenty will it be covered? and Will i have to pay anything ?

it`s hard to explain for me.but i`ll try : when i turn to the left( till the end) and then to the right, in the begining of the turn my steering wheel stops, and it`s covered by warranty. i`ve ordered powersteering..

Mine has completely gone, no matter how i turn, there is no power steering lol

Definitely want to go to the dealer. Are there any warning lights on the dash?

Gave it in to the dealer, looks like it needs a new power steering pump. covered by warrenty though

will gt it bak tomro at 5

You will never guess what happed now..so im happily driving..grinding noise comes again and eventually goes. after 20 minutes of driving..taken it back to bmw again for the 2nd time. went yesterday morning ..
