Blue water looks girly on the website. But, in person, it is really more grey-like with hints of powder blue. I like it - think it is a practical light color but not nearly so monochromatic as many BMW colors.

I don't think that color combo would be bad at all, personally.

Bluewater is like a bluer Silverstone II. Not bad, but it is a bit on the girly side.

Don't listen to people who say things like it is a "girly" color. If you are secure enough with your sexuality get whatever pleases you. I happen to think that light blue cars look great. You get the benefits of a light color car (easy care, etc.) but with some depth to it.

If you were secure in your sexuality, you probably wouldn't be getting a BMW...

Nothing wrong with the color, get it and enjoy... and if your wife doesn't like it, even better! You get the car to yourself!

FWIW when I was buying my E39 M5 the dealer said bluewater was a tough color to resell.
