Anything CAN happen at a dealership...mine wouldnt say anything about that. BTW, I am on my fourth high pressure fuel pump...my second fuel sensor...I have new injectors..and new coilpacks...I hope I dont have a misfire when I pick it up later today..or I am gonna look into lemon law buyback procedures. I have gotten Audi to buy back a car before..so I know the process.

Exhaust tips are nothing...but they may make a stink about not having cats.

sorry for being off topic but when they buy the car back, is it at depreciated or original value?

Or those who put a large down payment down. Would they get the down payment back as well as any monthly payments?

If you purchased it ...I think they give you the value now minus the value of the months it didnt have the issue you lemon lawed it for. Sorry if that doesnt make sense. You can just tell them to replace the car in total..and then they will charge you for the month (out of 60 total) that the car was running fine. If you issue started the first month of ownership..that same issue that you are lemoning the car for..you make out the best on the deal.

On my buyback with Audi..I was leased..and they just replaced the car..with one that had more options...and I kept my lease payment, mileage, etc...and my original term. I actually ended up selling that car before the terms was out..and making money on the deal. YMMV.

I think you mean misfiring.

Miss Firing is the annual pinup representative of the NRA...
