Fuel Door
My Honda Prelude and SUV both have the fuel door on the driver side, which I find much more convenient. Maybe I'm just not yet used to the fuel door on the E90 being on the passenger side. But I wish BMW would put it on the driver's side. Makes it easier to navigate how close you can be when pulling up to the pump.

Only problems I have at the pump is trying to keep the fuel from running down the side of the car.
I know sometimes I must look like a complete OCD when I pull out the travel tissues and wipe the side of my car off... but hey, I don't want any fuel drying out on my car.

If there are two tanks in the E9X, why not put filler doors (and pipes would be helpful, too) on both sides? Then you aren't limited to which line at the pump.
Or a single one under the license plate? Nah, that's too Detroit.

Also, I wouldn't use Costco in a million years (low grade), Shell's 93 Octane makes me and my engine happy.

German cars are primarily designed to be LHD so have their fuel doors on the right, Japanese cars are primarily designed to be RHD so have their fuel doors on the left. I recall seeing a number of gas stations throughout Europe that were very small and seemed like they were built into a nook on the side of the road, it would be impossible or at least difficult for a car that's travelling in the right direction to pump gas without having it's filler door on the right.
