Connected Drive Black Friday deals live

Well it looks like the Black Friday deals for Connected Drive are now live. If you log in, you can see the reduced prices for the connected packages. There only appears to be one package available (for my F30 anyway) and that is large, it is £55.30 reduced from £79 and includes RTI and map updates. I would have preferred the medium package which has everything but the on street parking information which I am not interested in, but it won't let me select that one. Still a good saving with 30% off

I would have preferred M too but will probably buy L on Friday. I cannot see when the Black Friday offer runs to, but in previous years it was only a week so am assuming it will expire on Sunday.

I can see the discounted price once logged in. Someone on the other thread said they could only see it once added to their basket. Maybe try that?

M appears to include

BMW Online

eDrive Services (for Electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles)

Amazon Alexa Car Integration

Real Time Traffic Information

USB Map Update

Over-the-air Map Update

Voice Control with Online speech processing

Remote Services

but I assume some of these are dependent on what is fitted to the vehicle.

Nice one, thanks for that. May skip it this year as since I've had the android head unit fitted I rarely find a use for the BMW nav/traffic. Shame really as I like the way it shows in the HUD.

No discount for me either ☹️ Real time traffic still active until 2 Dec though, hopefully that’s not screwing up the offer!

Discount is now showing for me. Thanks for the heads up! £55 for the Connected Package L is pretty reasonable for what it contains and it beats previous offers!

When I spoke to BMW Connected Drive I asked about the whole Alexa set up and on my 2018 Pro Nav I need an iStep update first which of course is not free but would be possible on a Pro Nav iDrive 6 that I do know

If its the same for me, they want you to save your credit card details, then they will let you make payment, if you dont save your details they wont let you go ahead and make payment, very annoying. will wait until everything is up and running and go back and delete my card.

Service plan for my G20 320i would save me at least £300+ (5years10000km/62000miles) over first 2 services/brake fluid + 3rd one would be for "free", decision time. If I only will keep the car this long

High beam assist is "unlimited" which is nice but with standard led lights is pointless, was great with matrix led lights on 1 series.

Had the same fiasco last night , strange that you couldn`t just pay for it without saving your card like i did last year.

Noticed similar with a few online shopping websites recently , no option to checkout as a guest you had to register and enter your payment details before it would let you complete the purchase.

They keep banging on about financial online security but having your details stored everywhere , even for a single purchase , is surely just adding to the problem.

Totally agree, that's what annoyed me, you don't get the choice, how can that be secure !!
